The Vine was originally the Idlewild Theatre in the 1940s. Since then, the building has been the site of several different restaurants and music halls. The Vine has been located here since May of 2002. The Vine is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the National Association of Catering Executives. We have received awards in the 2004 Mid-South Wedding Show and the 2004 Southern Womens Show for decorating and design. The Vine has also been the site for several charity fundraisers, including Friends for Lifes Night in Red Masquerade Ball, the LeBonheur Childrens Hospital Silent Auction and Fundraiser, the Hope House Charity Auction, the MARC Christmas Party, The Midtown Artists Market 2003 Christmas Bazaar, The Cystic Fibrosis Wine Opener, a benefit for St. Jude, Karoke for a Cause, The Crisis Center, and the Make a Wish Foundatrion. You will find The Vine listed in The Perfect Wedding Guide, The Memphis Wedding Resource Guide, I Do for Brides, and Southern Bride.
